What is an affiliate program?

An affiliate program is a simple way for you to make commissions on any products and services that another company offers simply by placing banner and/or text ads on your website, blog or emails.  When one of your customers clicks through to our website and purchases something either immediately OR at any time in the future, you receive a generous commission.

What products/services do you offer?

We sell designer, affordably priced bridal hair accessories which are available internationally.  Our accessories have been featured in several nationally published bridal magazines including InStyle Weddings who named Hair Comes the Bride one of the best online bridal boutiques.  As an affiliate, you also receive commission on sales from our sister site www.BridalJewelryBoutique.com.

What separates your affiliate program from other programs?

Our affiliate program is in high demand for two reason: (1) we offer a generous commissions, higher than most affiliate programs. (2) we carry one of the largest selections of designer, high quality, reasonably priced bridal hair accessories available. (3) we truly want you to succeed and we want to support you in any way we can.

How long does it take to sign up?

Sign up takes only a couple of minutes.  It's straightforward, quick and easy.  Once you submit your information, you will receive an email with your login information.

How do I put the ads on my site?

Once you login to your Affiliate Panel, you can view a variety of different sized banner and text ads.  Each ad has it's own snippet of HTML code.  You simply copy and paste the HTML code for the desired ad into your website or blog.

How do you keep track of orders coming to my site?

When you copy and paste any of our ads or banners into your website, a tracking "cookie" with your unique affiliate ID is attached.  Then, when a visitor clicks on any of these links from your website, a cookie is placed on their computer.  Finally, when a visitor completes a sale on our website, the cookie is read to determine which affiliate referred the customer and you are credited accordingly.  Unlike most affiliate programs who have a 30-90 cookie, our cookies last forever to ensure that you are credited for every sale that you refer!

How will I know how many sales I have referred?

There are two ways you are notified of each sale you refer: (1) via e-mail and (2) via your personal affiliate page on our website. Every time you refer a sale, an e-mail will be sent to you. You can also log in to our site and check your statistics, all of which are displayed in real time. As well, you can run reports to find out which ads are generating click-throughs and sales, and which ones aren't.

When can I expect to receive my commission?

We automatically send out your commission check the first week of every month.  You can also be paid via Paypal if you prefer.

How will my visitors order products or services?

All you need to do is refer potential customers to our website. We do the rest — from converting visitors to buyers; taking orders through our secure servers, toll-free number, fax, or by mail; shipping the product and managing returns; to handling customer support questions. We do it all!

Can I take orders directly on my site?

No, we provide a safe and secure online checkout system through our website where 99% of our orders are processed.  This is the major reason why being an affiliate is much easier than promoting and running your own online business.  We do all the work- you simply refer people to our website and you get paid!

Can I order products directly for sale at my physical location?

Yes, we sell our products wholesale at 20%-60% off.  All of the HCTB hair flowers are available for wholesale purchase at 60% off.  Everything else on our site is available for purchase by any of our affiliate members at 20% off either for personal use or to re-sell.

Can I use photos from your site?

As long as you are using them to market our website and your affiliate program, you are welcome to use any photos or logos you like from our website.

How much money can I expect to make and how soon?

This really depends on several different factors.  First is whether your website or blog caters to our specific market which is brides!  Also, the more you let your customers know about us, the more likely they are to click through and buy from us.  Therefore, it is a good idea to not only put the ads on your website but to also let people know about your partnership with Hair Comes the Bride through email, Facebook, Twitter and by placing ads on several different places on your website.  A large determining factor is also going to be how many visitors come to your site.  Finally, it does seem as though most brides do quite a bit of looking around before they purchase.  Therefore, do not be discouraged if you do not see a lot of sales right away.  It is best to give the program a good six months to see if it is successful.
