A Note from the Owner
Hair Comes the Bride has been in the business of bridal hair and makeup for over eleven years. About five years into the business, I noticed that brides were having a hard time finding quality bridal accessories that were elegant yet understated. At that time, not many of the manufacturers or stores carried very many smaller combs and/or bridal hairpins. I had always had a flair for fashion and loved working with my hands so I began designing and making custom hairpins and combs for my own clients. I also carried other designers in my Orange County, California shop but noticed that my own designs were some of the most popular pieces outselling most of the other pieces.
About three years ago, I decided to add my own line as well as other designer's pieces on our retail website. I saw the same trend as I did in our store. While all of the items on the site sold well, Hair Comes the Bride pieces seemed to be some of the most popular.
So, now here we are in 2008 and finally after much prompting from my employees as well as several stores that have found my items by chance online as well as several national bridal publications who have featured my pieces, I have decided to begin selling my Hair Comes the Bride pieces wholesale.
What you can expect from us.
Although the wholesale side of the business may be new to me, running a business is not. I plan to bring the same commitment to excellence to the wholesale side of the business as I have brought to my retail and service business for the past almost twelve years.
I know what it means to be a good vendor. I myself have been very frustrated with many manufacturers who have wonderful products but that seem to mess up my orders or don't get them to me on time or are just simply difficult to work with.
We are committed to being there for the stores that choose to carry our items. We will do whatever we can to accommodate any and all rush orders, free of charge, as we know that this is often a concern that we ourselves have with our brides. Also, if after ordering an item from us, it is not what you expected or you are unhappy for any reason with the item, we will gladly take the item back. Although we will continue to sell our items on our retail website, we truly feel that most people would rather see the item in person and try it on. We will do whatever we can to encourage brides to shop at your store rather than order from our site. One of the ways in which we will do this is to have a store locator link on every item from our line on our retail site. This way if a bride is interested, she can come to your store to see the item. Even if you do not carry that particular item, you can order it for the bride to see. If she does not like the item, you can simply ship it back for a full refund. And, if she does not end up ordering that item, you will hopefully have something else in your store that she will like.
Our products are made with the finest materials including Sterling Silver wire, Swarovski Crystal and Freshwater Pearls. And we are able to accommodate most custom orders if one of our items is not exactly what your client is looking for.
